Today's Painting

Observation Deck

Observational ability is important for an artist.

So what do we look for?

Well, it easy to spot the differences between things.

I find it’s often more rewarding to discover and reveal what connects them.

Beauty, love, joy and friendship are found in affinity.

Thanks to my neighbor Nancy Edmunds for the great reference photo!

Please Note: This auction is scheduled to run two weeks, until Monday, April 30. I’ll see then with a new painting… hopefully of Spring!

Size: 12X16 (auctioned unframed)
Medium: Oil on linen panel

What Others Are Saying

Just wanted you to know that the kids absolutely loved the painting of the Woodstock Inn. In fact, my son’s future mother-in-law loved it so much that she will probably be contacting you to do a commissioned piece on their lake property in Kentucky! Thank you for being part of a very special event. My son was just overwhelmed so I think saying they loved it is probably an understatement! It couldn’t have come out better. Again, many thanks.

We’ve had an old fashioned Vermont winter this year, and like most, I’m about ready for spring. The thing is, Mother Nature dances to her own tune. As an artist who appreciates truth, integrity, and independence, I gotta respect her … Continued
