Sunday Brunch depicts a classic Vermont Inn. The Sunday Brunch sign caught my eye one day and I knew I had to paint it. The architectural details of this period offer an artist opportunity for translation into beautiful line and color. I painted the image starting with very large brushes and bold colors, and finished with calligraphic marks with a small liner brush. It was painted ?Ala Prima?, or 'All at Once'.
