Norwich University Jul 10, 2017
Norwich University Campus in Northfield Vermont.
A popular question: How long did it take you to paint that?
In this case, two months.
I started it in May and finished just last week.
Some paintings just need a rest in between.
When it comes to art, and a good book, I’ve found time to be an inconsequential unit of measure.

And one more…
Here is another new original painting, also completed last week.
Using a recent Day in Vermont “Liberty Hill Farm” painting as a “study”, I painted the same farm from a slightly different view, in a much larger size.
This painting began as a demonstration at Fletcher Farm in Ludlow. A number of folks asked to see it when done.
Enjoy!

Love them both. I love the farm painting especially, brings back some good memories of my childhood thanks for sharing your wonderful talent
Thank you Karen!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!! The Norwich library is a newer building and is an awesome repository of history. Hope the university agrees to handle this print during their bicentennial celebration.
My pleasure Nancy. If they call, I will answer.
the picture of the farm reminds me of a place where I stayed to be with the people who actually owed my dad some money. We worked there and had the best meals ever. The road, dirt, is the same. My sister and i just loved the place.
Thanks Melanie!
The farm is very relaxing. I live by farms and farming. Love it.
Thanks Rose!
Thank you for the beautiful paintings and Monday smiles! 🙂

Thanks Janalene!
Before I read how long it took to paint the campus I said >…wonder how long that took to complete…. It is very impressive and glad you could include the great natural enclosure. Also nice to see another view of Liberty Hill buildings. Cynthia
See, popular question. Thanks Cynthia!
Beautiful
Thanks Elizabeth!
I was at fletcher farm when you were doing this painting. It’s nice to see it finished. Great work as always. Love it all 🙂
Thanks Joanne!
This week’s paintings speak to me of hopes and dreams, of goals and achievements, and of the passing of time. Both the buildings and the serenity of their individual settings have made me stop and think for awhile. What a gift! Thank you.
Thanks Brian, hope you are enjoying the summer!
