Creative Collaboration

Isn’t it great that anything is possible? I love the question: What if..?

I enjoy working with nice people on win-win projects. The only criteria is that we have fun and do good.

If you have a creative idea in mind maybe I can help. CONTACT.

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.

Community Paintings

A Community Painting event invites all ages and ability levels to participate in the completion of a large acyclic painting. Like a private commission, we will develop a design together. I then paint an original watercolor work to be used as our “guide.” I prepare the large panel by sketching in the composition. At the main event I “conduct” the orchestra of oncoming painters until we have something pretty amazing. (1 – 2 hours) I typically do some minimal “refinement” back at my studio and frame the piece for permanent display at your location. For more detailed information regarding a possible Community Painting for your group or organization please CONTACT me directly.

Corporate Collaboration

Here is one example. Vermont based Seventh Generation is the nation’s leading brand of household and personal care products that help protect human health and the environment. If you use 7th Generation products like we do in our home and studio, you will be seeing just a little more of my artwork. I was honored to work with the nice folks at 7th Generation last year to create a new leaf for their new packaging, which won a 2013 American Package Design Award from Graphic Design USA Magazine.

From Seventh Generation’s website: The packaging also celebrates our Vermont heritage – something of which we’re justifiably proud. Our new leaf is the work of Vermont native and award-winning artist Peter Huntoon. The leaf was painted for Seventh Generation by native Vermont artist Peter Huntoon who worked closely with us to create something unique and special that was ours and ours alone. If you look closely, you’ll be able to see the intricate detail and brushwork that bring out the subtle variations in color – much like a real leaf. If you’re ever in Burlington, Vermont, stop by our offices and we’ll show you the entire gallery of leaves that Peter created before we settled on just the right one. Read Full Story

Fundraising

Fundraisers for noble and worthy causes can be win-win opportunities for all. I have participated in many successful fundraising events. This typically involves a commissioned painting to be raffled or auctioned. If you would like to discuss possibilities please CONTACT me.
