The farm geese were having a good time in a local barnyard last week.
I learned a fun new word recently. Anthropomorphism is a literary device that assigns human characteristics to nonhuman entities like animals or inanimate objects.
Like empathy, it’s a worthy perspective to paint from.
Please Note: Important auction update below.
Size: 12X16 (auctioned unframed)
Medium: Oil on panel
You may have noticed that many auction paintings are selling quickly. Thank you!
This has brought up a new question that needs to be answered.
The Question: By the time I open my Day in Vermont email and check the auction, the painting has already sold. How can I make sure to have a chance at the new painting?
The Answer: Some auctions close quickly because someone has purchased the painting using the “Buy Now” option. Since the email newsletter may or may not arrive at the exact same time to all subscribers, I now start all new auctions at 10:30 AM EST, exactly. The email goes out shortly after that. So, if you are interested in being first in line to view the new original auction painting, please check my website directly at 10:30AM EST Monday morning, at www.peterhuntoon.com.
In summary, the one small but important change is that the new auction will be posted at a consistent time each week, Monday at 10:30AM EST.
As always, Please let me know if you have any questions. My aim from the start has been to make the auction easy, fun, and fair for all.
Thanks again for all your support!
With warmest regards,
