Crescent Bay Farm Aug 29, 2016
Diversity is a way of life in Vermont.
And life is good at Crescent Bay Farm in South Hero.
The family farm produces maple syrup, grass fed pork, llama yarn, and a most excellent wine from their Snow Farm vineyard.
After sampling all that, settle in for the night at the B&B.
Yup. Life is good.

Stunning!
Thank you Launee!
Looks like summer!
Indeed it is, thanks Jane!
Your landscapes always invite interaction, capturing the ever changing, yet never changing drama of life, be it through powerful skies, the multi-textures and colors of a vast field, or even the simple but powerful contrast of light against dark or dark against light. A gem of a painting, Peter, as always!
As artists, we have many tools in our tool box. I try to use them with efficiency, tact, and grace. No need to use the framing hammer when only a gentle nudge is required. Thanks Brian!
I would love to be peddling my bike under that sky, down that road, past that farm and discover what lies ahead! Your paintings always take me there. Thank you for the moment!
I was thinking of you when I painted the riders. Thanks Randy!
Looks so peaceful and calm.
Thanks Janet!
Looking like fall is coming
Won’t be long now Rose, thank you!
I love your latest painting It reminds me of a home that I have seen many times when I visit. Brings a warm
feeling.. When I not have to visit as much as I wish. My husband was born in Pawlet, Thank you.
These days are worth savoring. Thanks Ann!
absolutely beautiful
thank you Betty!
I am very fussy as to what I like that would be attractive in a particular room! This painting is perfect! Another painting that I feel would be perfect in my home! Just love it!
Thank you Joan!
I’m partial to farms of Vt… when I went to Mass. from Vt to attend nursing school(a century ago…) my fellow students called me Farmer! Like the way you made the road “rural” and excluded the modern poles. Your original touches make it another day in Vt. Cynthia
Thanks Cynthia, from another “Farmer”!
Nice picture. The road should have been a dirt road, but I guess it is called progress.
Thanks David!
Nice!
I love this painting…….I just love Vermont and will never forget the trip my husband took me on to your
beautiful state….(He was from Rutland, Vermont)….He went home to be with Jesus Feb. 6, 2015
and I really miss him.
Thank you June, and i’m sorry for your recent loss.
I love your paintings and would love to own, at least, a baker’s dozen !!
You are my kind of girl Patricia, thank you!
I am a neighbor who would be interested but you made the road paved (hence the yellow line) wish it was shown as a dirt road….sorry!!!
No need to apologize Nancy, some things are meant to be, some aren’t.
