Flora and Fauna
Have you noticed the sweet color harmonies along our Vermont roadsides recently?
Delicate accents of yellow, violet, and blue sparkle like jewels among the lush and vibrant greens.
The Queen Anne’s Lace seem especially regal, standing tall among her subjects.
Here, a noble forest prince or princess joins the royal procession.
Size: 12X16 (auctioned unframed)
Medium: Watermedia on linen panel

Hello, when bidding, I entered a different bid than is showing on the screen. I tried to adjust it but it said that is the bid that I already entered? Wondering if I’m doing something wrong? This is my first time doing this.

Thanks Susan!
Earlier this summer I enjoyed a similar view out my kitchen window. Now maturing growth in the old field stands dense and high, with my only view of deer being the tips of their ears as they stand hidden amongst the goldenrod. No regrets, however, as the weeds and flowers of August delight the eye with their own kind of beauty.
Thanks Brian!
I love how this came out. It was such a treat to watch you paint some of it at art in the park.
Thanks Lisa!
Breathtaking as usual. I could look at your paintings forever.
Thanks Alta!
It looks exactly like the deer I see all the time on my walks. It’s so peaceful when she appears. She stares at me for awhile and then will mosey off. It’s lovely.
