Apple of my eye Dec 1, 2014

The big apple tree outside my studio door is a constant source of inspiration.

This brilliant Blue Jay was sizing up the situation in October.

Fortunately my camera was handy.

The best subjects can appear when we least expect it.

When our door is open.

It’s December now and I’m painting away in the studio like a busy little elf. (holiday commissions)

Rather than miss A Day in Vermont post, I’ll be offering up a favorite piece or two from the “Oil and Water” show. This is definitely one.

A big thank-you to Meg Brazill (Seven Days) for the exceptionally well written and insightful review of our “Oil & Water” show at the Chaffee Downtown Gallery. You can read the full Seven Days review here.

A Day in Vermont: Volume 1

The book is ready!

It’s a beautiful hard cover edition featuring a selection of 45 paintings from our first 18 months together.

It was skillfully designed and arranged by the Digital Arts students at Stafford Technical Center in Rutland.

Priced at $65, any and all profit from this project will go directly to the Stafford Digital Arts program.

You can read the Rutland Herald article covering this exciting project HERE.

You can now preview and order the book directly from Blurb, HERE.

Thank you!

As you may know, it’s my pleasure to be able to give away a free print each month to one random subscriber.

It’s one small way I can say thank you for all your support.

I’ll be drawing our December winner this week.
