When our children were young, we started renting cottages at Lake St. Catherine and used to drive around this area – away from all the bustle of everyday life. Now our son has restarted the tradition with his own family. I am going back again just for a getaway weekend, though, to celebrate my 75 birthday with my sisters and “sister”-in-law. Somehow you manage to capture both the simplicity and unique beauty of each place you capture. It is like going home again, even if only for a few minutes.
If you turned the house on the left sideways I would swear this was my Grandmother Eva’s Sunrise Dairy Farm in Watertown, CT. Like Lenor this might be my new favorite, at least until the next one. Thank you for the after Easter sweet.
