Art is risky business.

Craving bold color I went all-in on this painting right from the start.

Sometimes, a gamble pays off.

Happy Anniversary!

And speaking of taking risks…

It was five years ago today that our little project “A Day in Vermont” began.

Who knew if it would fly? I sure didn’t.

But I had to follow my heart. After much planning and praying, I left my day job and went all-in.

Here we are five years, 300 paintings, and 11,000 subscribers later.

I’m profoundly grateful for all your support.

Thank you so very much for taking a chance with me.

Sharing this artistic adventure with you each week has been my privilege and pleasure. I couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s to the next five years being as fun as the first.

I’m betting on it!
