Here are several new paintings recently completed and now available.
A few are the result of a great week spent in Grafton, painting with a hearty group of talented artists known as the “Frozen-Asses”, hosted by Charlie Hunter at the Grafton Inn.

They are all wonderful, It must really be a beautiful area. I hope someday to visit Vermont. Your Monday paintings always start my week out right. Thanks for sharing your work
Thank you Karen, hope you visit my studio when you come!
The pictures are wonderful, Peter! Thank you! Love the name of the group!
Thank you Vivian!
These are great! I have been waiting for you to get to Grafton! I spent many summers there with my Dad and Grandmother as a child. I loved hanging out in town or playing in the brook behind my Dad’s house or trying to climb the mountain behind my Grammy Kay’s place. Now I love to take my children up there to visit.
Thank you Robin, it’s a wonderful area!
I marvel at how much you can accomplish in so short a time– what a beautiful group of paintings! My favorites are Winter Orchard and March pasture. Creative use of a limited palette and interesting shapes and composition turn complexity into simple and graceful beauty !
Thank you Brian, this group actually represents work done over the last couple few months. I had collected enough “almost finished” pieces in the studio where I had to buckle down and attack them. Now, onward to some green!
Enjoying the wonderful array of your art today…Glad you had a week of some R&R while also creating more “stories”. I like the Grafton site …nice to see the tree branches hovering over street lites. The whole scene is truly country! Cynthia
Thank you Cynthia, the Grafton area is a painters paradise, but then, so is all of Vermont! 🙂
You did a great job! And now springtime begins with all the lovely flowers and lightgreen trees. It will be funny to see the new powerful paintings.
Thank you Doris, yes, I’m now looking forward to spring colors!
Love the collection! Nice work!
Thank you Susan!
Thank you for the bonus works of art! 🙂 Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you Melodie!
I love all of these, unfortunately can’t afford the originals right now. How much for prints?
Thank you Nora. Yes, prints are available and start at $45 for 11X14. Just let me know if I can help. You can email me at peter@peterhuntoon.com if you like.
Very cool you were painting with Charlie Hunter, he has such a great eye and sense of humor. Congratulations on the productivity! Will you be doing a series of rusted infrastructure?
Thanks Steve, yes Charlie, and the whole group, location, Inn, etc were great. Lots of fun for sure. Nobody does rusted infrastructure better than Charlie, so I think that’s best left to him!
I do believe that I am in ‘need’, of some ‘Cards’ to use as ‘writing paper’ for my friends !!! I need some sample that I may click on & order~~ are they still in a pack o’ 5 ??? This I’ve done in the past ~~ Connie, Thanks!!
Hi Connie, yes, I offer them in six-packs. That has a nicer ring to it, eh? If you go to any print on my website, under the drop down you will see Cards you can add to your cart. Or, you can email or call me with an order. peter@peterhuntoon.com, 0r 802-235-2328. I’m off painting this morning (Wed) but home later today.
