Group Therapy Oct 24, 2013
Come Fall in Vermont the wild turkeys flock together in larger groups.
We could Google it to find out why, but pesky facts can get in the way of our imagination.
Maybe Turkeys are complex social creatures like us and appreciate family, friendship, camaraderie, and love.
Or maybe we’re more like them?

Love the name!
Thanks Lynn
That pic looks familiar:) Did you see them recently? Also, I saw a healthy looking fox right near Studio Ln a few days ago. Right place, right time…
Yes, that pic is in your yard. We have not seen them as much as last year for some reason, even with plenty of acorns out back. They must have a better menu somewhere. If you get a pix of the fox let me know!
Great piece, nicely evocative; btw, you might enjoy knowing that a group of turkeys is correctly referenced as a “trump”.
Thank you Cass, I’ll add “trump” to my vocabulary, and potential painting titles for future paintings. Could have fun with that!
