Late Winter Blues Mar 3, 2014
The first day of Spring is a couple of weeks away.
Here in Vermont there’s usually “a gap” between the official day and one that any reasonable person would consider “Spring”.
I chose the title of this painting for the obvious color dominance.
And to acknowledge that sense of longing we often experience after many months of cold and snow.

“The Blues are the true facts of life expressed in words and song, inspiration, feeling, and understanding.”
Willie Dixon
Winter blues? Nah, I see sunshine peeking through the leafless trees.
We are both optimists Steve
Great pictures of a Vermont farmhouse on a nice winter day. Great
Thanks David

This is one of my favorites. Helps alleviate the blues when you see Vermont so beautifully!
Thank you Patty!
I signed up at EPOCH Gallery in Manchester and love getting these beautiful images of VT. Of the 5 I’ve seen, this one is my favorite. My parents were from VT and I have fond memories, even as I visit now. I can’t afford a print, but cards would be great. How do I buy them?
Hello Betsy, I’m glad you are enjoying A Day in Vermont! I do sell cards in packs of 5. You can find them with the limited edition prints. Cards are an option in the drop down menu of each print. For this image, hit the “Order Print” button above, and it will take you to the shopping cart where you can select cards for this image. If you have any trouble at all just give me a call and I’ll be happy to help. 802-235-2328.
