Newport Waterfront Jul 1, 2019

A recent adventure to northern Vermont introduced me to the beautiful city of Newport.

It was love at first sight.

Interesting that when it comes to Vermont and this artist, that seems to happen a lot.

The Newport Waterfront looks north across sparkling waters of Lake Memphremagog and on up into Canada.

And the Winners are…

As you may know, each month I draw two random A Day in Vermont subscribers to win a free print of their choice.

It’s one small, and fun, way I can say thank you for your continued support.

Our first winner for June is Billy Rosbottom, of Atlanta, GA. Billy chose “Valley View” and had this to say…

“I love VT: The people. The peace. The color. The authenticity. Your representation of VT cities, villages, farms, foliage, schools, stores, lakes and streams brings comfort to those of us who’re so far away. It’s an experience that’s hard to describe, but most definitely transformative. ADIV captures life, and those who are lucky enough, relish your portrayal. Thanks Peter!”

Our second winner is Margaret van den Bergh of Saxtons River, VT. Margaret chose “Jetty Master” and had this to say…

“I view your work as the careful chronicling of this wonderful State of Vermont, Robert Frost of painting. You do certainly capture its spirit, its nature, and its people. Thank you so much. I will treasure the print.”
