Poultney River Bridge Sep 16, 2013

The Poultney River runs along side Route 140 between Middletown Springs and Poultney.

A small bridge spans the river reflecting the deep colors of a cool September day.

Every Day in Vermont is unique and precious.

Thanks for letting me share today.

“What day is it?”

“It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.

“My favorite day,” said Pooh.

Love this painting Peter – truly captures “my Vermont” – I see you take suggestions – how about lake shaftsbury in the late afternoon when the sun is hitting the lake?

Thank you Mary Beth, although I can’t do all the suggestions I get, I gladly accept them!
I’ll have a look at Lake Shaftsbury next chance I get. If you have a photo that will give me a glimpse please email me.

Hi Peter – My Mom just realized she had forgotten to give me the beautiful card that you sent along with the painting. I AM looking forward to enjoying the painting for many years to come – – it’s more beautiful in person 🙂 MB
