The Proctor Bridge in Proctor Vermont is a dramatic entryway into a town full of history. The white marble bridge sparkling in the sun is a testament to the natural beauty of our native stone, and to the craftsmanship of many who have called Proctor home. I worked for a long time to develop a strong composition that would incorporate all the elements I both saw and felt in the scene. I visited the site many times during several seasons to gather reference material. Once I had my clear vision, the painting just kind of painted itself. I love Vermont!
