Spruce Knob Oct 19, 2020

Spruce Knob Road is about two miles from my studio in Middletown Springs. At least half that as the crow flies.

I spent three glorious days painting here last week, perfectly smitten with the view and blessed with good weather.

Many thanks to my friends and neighbors for your permission and participation!

A double delight…the grande dame…and her petite little sister…both brashly seducing viewers with vivid explosions of Autumnal sensuality. Honestly, Peter…you should be arrested for evoking such delightfully sinful thoughts from your admirers. Have you no shame?

    very nicely done, autumn delight.

God made it easy giving you so many colors to choose from. Life doesn’t get any better than this!

Hallo Peter. Das große Querformat tut dem Panorama gut. Das Tal erscheint weitläufiger und sanfter. Mittelgebirge eben, eingetaucht in leuchtende Herbstfarben.
