Like most folks in Vermont, the busy bees have to make the most of summer while it lasts.
This one had a brilliant Thistle blossom all to himself on Saturday.
I wasn’t really looking for a subject when this came along.
But artists are creative opportunists.
Always bee ready to stop and smell the thistles.

This is the most exciting thing that has happened to me in a long while! Winning this print could not come at a better time. About a month ago, our family moved from Vermont to Wyoming due to jobs and this print hanging on the wall will keep Vermont close at heart. I chose the Pico print because both my kids learned to snowboard there 10 years ago when we first moved to Vermont and it has such great memories for us. The print captured the mountain perfectly! Once again, thank you so much!
