Good Question!

Q. Hi Peter, I love your work and your a bit unusual, beautiful technique – it looks like you paint watercolors with a palette knife (do you?)

A. I use a variety of methods to apply paint and make up new ones every day. I do use a palette knife occasionally. For me, pushing paint around in interesting ways is as important (aka as much fun) as exploring a specific subject and expressing a personal feeling or idea. When those all work together you are going to have a very good painting. Once in a while that happens!

Please note: In response to a number of requests I will be extending the auction to run from post to post rather than a brief 24 hours. Unless I get lost or eaten in the woods I will be posting new work Monday and Thursday mornings. Thank you for your continued support and suggestions.
