Rutland Country Club Nov 4, 2024

This painting was instigated by my dear brother in law, Dave Wolk. He’s been known to make good things happen. He vividly described the view from the 17th tee at Rutland Country Club, overlooking the 16th hole and the Rutland City skyline. He went on to facilitate the entire adventure, also serving as my golf cart chauffeur. Just as we planned and hoped, it was a perfect autumn Day in Vermont. A great big thanks to Dave, RCC, and all the nice golfers I met that day who played through!

Original Sold. Next Day in Vermont Monday, Nov 18.

I’d love to play golf here. The biggest problem is that I’d be in rapture of the hills and spires you captured. I’d forget all about that tiny white ball I was intending to whack. Then there’s the fact that I don’t play golf . I could sit next to you while you painted . I’d read while watching the clouds go by. (I’d be quiet too so as not to disturb you.) Thank you for the the afternoon in Rutland.

So many wonderful memories of my years a member. This is the best of the many gorgeous views from the back 9. Great painting!

Just gorgeous view! We miss Vermont visits now that our daughter graduated two years ago from Middlebury! Thank you for reminding us just how beautiful it is there.
