Frames of course are largely a matter of personal taste. A full service frame shop (Like Quest Frames in Middletown Springs, Vt.) is the place to go for quality custom frames. 

While I no longer frame prints (more time to paint) I continue to offer a simple, cost effective, quality standard framing option for my original work. My current standard frame reflects what I consider to be complementary to most of my paintings, and works well in most home decors. The weathered gray wood frame moulding is a slightly rustic design with a few random imperfections and nibbles along the edge, as seen in photos below. I chop and join each custom frame, and I also make the custom hand wrapped linen liner. Each frame includes backing and is ready to hang. If you have any questions regarding frames just let me know. Original Oil Painting Frames

Please see below examples of my current standard frame. It is available alone, or with an added hand-wrapped natural linen liner.

Standard Frame without linen liner. This frame is 2 3/4 inches wide. A 12 X16 painting would be a finished size of 17X21.

Standard Frame with linen liner. This frame is 3 1/4 wide. A 12X16 painting would be about 18 3/4 X 22 3/4
