“Vergennes Falls Spring” began as a warm-up study but quickly developed into something more. Although I painted this iconic scene many years ago (in watercolor), it’s great fun and education to revisit a good subject. I really like the mood in this one… the swelling power of Otter Creek in Spring commands respect.
