Autumn Reprise Nov 29, 2021

This painting is from a recent Northeast Kingdom trip. It was started on location (“en plein air”) and finished in the studio.

I painted this from Five Mile Square Road north of Island Pond, as the sun started to set.

My aim was to (quickly) capture the warm autumn light splashing against the old brick home on the hill.

I so enjoy the photos of your view from your work station as you do your magic.Yes, you captured the sunlight on the brick perfectly, warm and brisk at the same time. Others drive past and never see the dance of light that you do. You are blessed and I thank you for sharing it.
