Here in Vermont, the governor recently proclaimed July 2024 as “Lakes Appreciation Month”.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

Charlotte Town Beach is a beautiful rock strewn strip of shoreline along Lake Champlain, easy to enjoy and appreciate.

I set up to paint early in the day to catch the morning light, and beat the recent heat. The only time I go swimming these days is accidentally.
