Gringo Jack’s Sep 9, 2013
Last week I had the pleasure of participating in Plein Air Vermont.
The outdoor painting festival in Bennington County included a two hour “Quick Draw” event in Manchester.
This painting was the result of two hours on the town green looking across 7A to the popular restaurant.
It’s the first time I have ever painted banana trees.

Great glowing colors, Peter! I think you are ready for the Caribbean Islands! There is a playfulness and joy in this painting that makes me fell like I’ve just ordered a margarita.
Thank you Kathryn, I could almost hear the steel drums playing when I painted this one!
Not bad for a ‘gringo’! In fact, I’d say you were much more of an ‘amigo’ with your friendly vibe and use of color!
Thanks for the spicy comment Joan!
I feel lucky for my 16 years here! Beautiful… thank you!
