Got Milk?
We get ours from the gorgeous gals just down the road at the Larson Farm in Wells.
They were basking in the warm sun after morning chores last week.
A cold glass of farm fresh Vermont milk… Holy Cow that’s good!

And the winner is…
Congratulations to our free print winner for March, Pam Hunter of Poultney.
Pam chose “Poultney Vermont” and had this to say…
“I am a native of Poultney Vermont and raised my children here. There is nothing like a small Vermont town to raise a family! There is such a sense of community, you will not find this everywhere. Neighbors can count on neighbors and everyone comes together in times of need and celebrations.
I chose “Poultney Vermont” as my print, because I think it is a great representation of our town. I love the work of Peter and am so excited to be this month’s winner. As a retired educator and member of the RSWSU Arts Alliance Committee I have had the privilege of seeing Peter demonstrate his amazing talent!”

Here’s to another winner…
Congratulations as well to the Proctor Phantoms boys basketball team, division four state champs!
New Print: “Proctor High School” (Sorry, original is sold)
Peter…first of all “The Jersey Girls” are GORGEOUS! What BEAUTIFUL faces – ALL!!!
Secondly your “new print” of Proctor High School, was my old “Junior High” (back in the day). You captured it PERFECTLY! — AMAZING ARTIST that you are! KUDOS to you – both paintings evoke such memories…and isn’t that what great images DO??!!!
Thanks so much Victoria. Yes, I think about “what art does” quite a bit, and don’t claim to understand it all. But whatever it is, it’s good, and it has something to do with connection…to our past, to our present, to each other, and even ourselves.
I just love the Jersey girls. So Vermont!
Thanks Dianne!
This is awesome! Brings back many sweet memories.
Thank you very much!
Bravo!
Glad you like Marty!
Those “girls” have personality! Nice painting. I especially like the color choices. One of the things I always enjoy about art is that you can use colors that you might not actually see in the subject in front of you but when they all come together in a painting they read as “correct” in the brain of the viewer.
Thanks Brian, like Ed Whitney said: “You get facts from nature. But you get art from artists.” It’s good practice to give nature a deep bow, but we don’t have to be a slave to her either. We have the freedom to express something personal and unique, if we choose.
Wonderful.
Thanks Joe!
I was just there last weekend for a yogurt & butter making demo. I have similar pics on my camera. A wonderful place to check out & the yogurt I made is delish!
Apparently we were there the same day Nancy, and we were both attracted to the same scene. I was just leaving with my milk (when I got my pix) when folks were showing up for class. A good day for everyone!
I’m a ”Jersey Girl” myself!!! …..don’t tell!!! 😉
These gals are GoRgEoUs, Peter!!!!
I can almost detect your accent Carol, but don’t worry, I won’t tell. Thanks!
Love love love it Peter!! Now this one id my favorite 🙂
Thanks Mary Fran, glad you have a new favorite. 🙂
Thank you, Peter! You capture the girls’ mischievous personalities perfectly! Its so sunny and cheering. See where we repaired the beams? Its lovely.
I’ll bet you have quite a dialog going with them on a daily basis. Thanks for providing so many good things to those who appreciate and enjoy it. You can taste the love Cynthia!
