Inspiration to paint comes from anywhere and everywhere. Especially when I’m looking for it. Which is pretty much always.
I encountered this sumptuous bouquet at our little Middletown Springs post office recently. During the summer months it’s worth a trip just to see the current counter display. If these peonies didn’t arrive directly from Heaven, local angels likely put them there.

Gorgeous – my favorite- our driveway back home in PA was lined with these bushes – the scent is amazing!!
