Pittsford Village Farm Jun 30, 2025

I was surveying my prospects in Pittsford recently from a very central vantage point. There’s a painting in every direction from Kamuda’s Country Market busy parking lot. While standing there looking around, I was serendipitously treated to a wonderful introduction to the Pittsford Village Farm. (Thank you, Betsy!) The Vermont spirit is certainly alive and well here. The beautiful farm is now a vibrant community hub with exciting projects underway. That made the decision of what to paint easy. Where to paint was the challenge. I had to wait until the store closed to paint from the best spot in the parking lot. (Thank you, Brian!) My window of opportunity was quite narrow; Sundays after 3:00PM. This painting did in fact take a month of Sundays to finish.
