The Woodstock Inn Dec 20, 2021
The magnificent Woodstock Inn spreads out under the last autumn oak leaves and nestles in for the winter.
For this subject I chose a new format/panel size. (12X19). My standard (12X16) seemed a bit too tall, and my (10X20) long landscape a bit too long.
When trying to explain my process or choice of equipment I often mention The Three Bears. An artist tries a lot of porridge before finding one that’s “just right”.

Words cannot give this painting justice! Wow, Wow, Wow…..totally awesome!
Happy Holidays!
I love it Peter
Beautiful piece, Peter. It brings back many happy memories spent in Vermont in particular as well as New England, in general. Thank you, Peter. Merry Christmas.
I taught at the old Woodstock Elementary across the street from then old Woodstock Inn and later the present day Woodstock Inn. Thanks for the visual and return of many old memories. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both you and your paint brushes. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and your family Peter.
Amazing building, great artistry. I grew up in Hartland. Wishing you very nice Holidays. Cindy
