State Street Nov 22, 2012

My childhood home was 28 Pine Street, right on the corner of State Street. Painting this was like going back in time to wonderful memories. Wiffle ball games on Summer Street.  Forts. Hot ham grinders from Bove’s. Sugar and cinnamon donuts from Bush’s. Ted’s Pizza. My Dad worked at the State Cut Rate for 30 years. That is where I learned an important life skill: how to efficiently unwrap a sticky Popsicle. An endless supply of boxes right behind my house. What more could a creative boy ask for?
