Plymouth Notch Jul 20, 2015
Calvin Coolidge was born in Plymouth Notch on July 4, 1872.
Mr. Coolidge earned a reputation as a man of integrity and decisive action, who said little, with a good sense of humor. In other words, a typical Vermonter.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” Calvin Coolidge
Certainly enjoying all that you offer here…great to have the video of another “spot”. Nice reminder of history… Cynthia

Thanks so much Sue, all the best from your friends here in Vermont. Stay cool out there!
Oh! the joy of watching the reds fly and drip, the blacks in blocks, and the final cheerful outcome all while you are smiling and truly enjoying what you are doing…so happy to know you and your work.
Sharing the painting experience with others like you is the icing on the cake for me Monique. Good stuff indeed. Thank you!
This is one of two prints I purchased last summer while visiting your studio. It was a pleasure to chat with you and see where you live and work. I was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont and moved away in the mid 90’s. Plymouth Union holds a very special place in my heart. I have visited often and photographed it and the surrounding area many times over the years. It’s so nice to be able to catch a video of you creating this wonderful painting.
